I was trying to rent a vehicle from Enterprise car rentals they told me that's who I was talking to. Adam the man I was speaking with told me to get an American Express gift card to pay for my rental because American Express was running a special with enterprise car rental for $25 a day insurance included but there would be a $250 hold on the car as a security deposit till the car was returned. He went through everything like just like they do when you rent a vehicle. I got an American Express card for $400. He wiped it clean leaving a balance of 2 cents. This all happened on August 13 2024.

Went online to rent a car, got someone that was not the rental agency.  Told me had a special reunning on car rentals if I had an American Express Card and that I could go to the store and buy a prepaid card.

Carla Rental car company is a complete scam and continues to fraudulently charge people for cars that don't exist. They provide fabricated reservations and leave people stranded. It is then next to impossible to get any help from their support team and when they do respond its only in attempt to place blame elsewhere and stall the victim from taking further action with their bank, legal system etc. They threaten to not help if one does contact their financial institution. Horrible company. They continued to try and deduct money from my account day after day and I'm worried they will try again. I've made many attempts to contact their support department about this.

i had wanted to rent car for my son, had used a directory for car rentals selected universal car rentals called then 8665842495 and the agent Suzanne instructed me pick up a gift card and load 330 dollars on to it the card was 2.96 the car company stated they where in the CT MA area, and you received a phone call from 8665842495 from Suzanne who collected money and told me car was on the way and would be there in 30- 45 mins car never arrived

Wanted help to rent a car using a debit card no credit card from Jacksonville airport, I googled travel agents and this company called provident car rental 888-608-2825 Evelyn Peterson she said preload $350 on an American Express prepaid card for my reservations from December 5th through the 9th, $200 deposit plus $130 for the car and she said make it 350 just to cover any other additional expenses. She said she would hold the reservation just for today that I needed to go get the card. So I looked it up on better Business bureau and there was no listing for provident car rental so I looked up scams and I found someone experienced the exact same thing and ended up losing $310 that they had put on an American Express prepaid card. There is no company that they could find. Thank God my intuition led me to this site, I hate people who scam other people and wish they could all be taken down.

We looked up car rental on google and called a number from a paid google ad 855-737-1265, we paid for the car rental over the phone $450 and never got the car delivered to us.
