I applied for a data analysist job online (cannot recall what site at the moment) and received a follow up email- I followed the instructions and messaged the "interviewing manager" to schedule my interview. What was odd was the "interviewing manager" wanted to have the interview done entirely through IM and immediately after I had contacted her. The writing was a bit off, but I thought nothing of it until I was put into contact with my "training supervisor" and was told I would be sent a check to pay for my "working materials." When I asked when and how I would be receiving my contract, I was repeatedly told it would "come with my working materials," which makes no sense since I would be responsible for purchasing my "working materials." When I raised concerns such as the fact the check arrivd without a contract and that things seemed odd, "training supervisor" said the phrase "Yes, everything is okay here" followed by "How long will it take you to have the check deposited now?"

As far as I know, there are several emails associated with this scam- [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected]
