These folks are straight scammers... Please be sure to ask them hard questions to ensure that they actually have the car(s) that they are advertising. Copy of title, driver's license/id, transporters (phone number and address)? Fortunately, I was able to recall the transfer of five figures shortly after making a transfer (same day)... it took 30 days for the bank to transfer the monies back to me. Huge lesson learned...here are snippets of the email correspondence from them after the transfer was made:

"Hello,

The car is already at a shipping company which also provides an escrow service (third party service) which gives security to both seller and buyer. They have in their custody both the car and the title signed for release, and regarding the payment, there is a 7 days inspection period available for you once you will receive the car in which you have the possibility to do an inspection to any authorized service of your choice before the company will release any money to me. If you are serious about buying the car, I will ship it anywhere you want with no extra cost.

To set-up the transaction with the shipping company, I need the following details from you:
- Full Name
- Address, City, State
- Zip Code
- Phone number

I will forward your details to the shipping company. Then they will contact you and provide all the info you need for completing the transaction (including the bill of sale and purchase contract).

Respectfully,
Williams Brennan"

TRANSFER MADE SHORTLY AFTER...RECEIPT OF "CONTRACT" from so-called shipping company...several hours after the transfer the "seller" went silent/ghost... I made the transfer at 11:10am and called the bank at 2:15pm to try to reverse it... I had a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach! When this scammer finally did reach out later that night... here is the response:

"Hello,

I am sorry for replying quite late. My brother just died from Covid and I don't have time for this, I see that you don't think that this is legit so I told the shipping company to refund your money and I will find another buyer after. Thank you for your time and interest.

Respectfully,
Williams Brennan"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------... /> Hello,

Why did you call the bank and say it is a fraud?
You will get the refund after they will investigate

Respectfully,
Williams Brennan
________________________________________________________________________________... /> "Williams", there are several reasons that I recalled the transfer:

If you can answer several questions honestly...

1. What is your real name? No one by this name "Williams Brennan" lives or has ever lived at 2910 Fallings Water Way... Snap a picture of your photo id with the corresponding address.
2. The BofA account that I was instructed to transfer to was just opened in March 2021 (Prime Traders Cargo, LLC) what connection would they have with Digi-Transport Corporation (https://digi-transport.com/)? The first invoice had a Chase account, (Elite Transportation C, LLC)...
3. You nor any of the parties involved have provided a working phone number to correspond with...
4. If it's not fraud... you would be able to provide an image of the car's title that corresponds with its VIN, a video of the car running, and being placed on a hauler...

Rarely do these type of scams end well for the scammed... I fortunately received 100% of my 5 figure transfer reversed. They have taken the post of that particular vehicle down but it has popped on another website called wowcarsales.com -

Hello. I'm unfortunately just found out I'm a victim of this scam. I replied to an ad selling a 1968 Pontiac Firebird from a Bruce Yeslow. I wired the $ to a Bank of America Acct in Charlotte NC and now no response of course. Working w/ my bank to try and hopefully recover my $ but unlikely I will.

I'm in the same club too... did your bank get you your funds back?

I was trying to get a continental from a guy who called himself Bruce P Yeslow, he sent me all pictures which was great but as soon as i wanted more he bailed. He wanted me to use a particular shipping company with Escrow to get it to Australia. email address [email protected] from Kansas.
I wouldn't trust this guy or perhaps this site by the sounds of things.

I think I am experiencing a similar scam. The guy wants me to deposit in an escrow with the company DPD Transport. Was that the same company for you?

There in process of trying yo sell me car.Is they we can set a sting operation to catch these people?

I believe this entire site to be a scam.. I've gotten the EXACT same email regarding a long shipping story from 2 different cars with 2 different sellers. It didn't hit me as a scam until I received the 2nd identical email from a 2nd person/car... This site is not safe for the public.

found a car on cardealfinder.com that stated it was located in Lima Ohio. Emailed owner and waited, after a few days of no response looked in my spam folder. It was there. After I took it out of spam into my regular email I was locked out of sending emails. It wasn't until I agreed to let Microsoft monitor my account that I was able to send mail again. This man responded with more detailed pictures of the car. When I asked how I go about purchasing the car he sent me an email with information on how he is in London and uses an overseas company to deliver the car. At that point I figured this must be a scam so I looked up reviews on the internet. There were many, all saying this site was a scam and when they reported it, whoever they reported it to said they couldn't find an IP address or a domain and that these people bounced off of several so they couldn't be tracked. No phone number could be revealed under the hidden information.
