I had some one who created a fake Facebook profile under a name of one of my friends. They requested to be my friend, once accepted they started a chat message with me and told me about the Care and Family Support Grant. They told me to text 1-479-259-1629 and to let them know what they say. Once I texted the phone number I was getting messages in all caps asking for more info. I went back to the person in the chat message and said that it seemed to be a scam. They said that they need to collect the info to be able to confirm that I am a citizen. After they collected my name, address, sex, marital status, if I own or rent my home, monthly income, etc. (no ssn) they said that I qualified for a $55,000 grant and that they can deliver the check to my home tomorrow. They said that I would have to pay a $250 fee in ITunes cards. When I asked for the person in charge the gave me the name of Paul *** and the address ** *** *** *** ** ***. When I looked up the address it was a nursing home facility. I asked the person messaging me and they said that they have a office within the building. I call the nursing home and they nurse I spoke to said unless they were part of the therapy program they have not heard of a grant program renting a space in their building. I told this to the person who is trying to scam me what the nurse said and they said that the grant is so new that they would not know about it yet and that some of the nurses have actually received a grant themselves. The person that is trying to scam me keeps trying to convince me that it is not a scam and that it is legit and to trust them.
