Applied for a position as Data Entry/Administrative Role for a company called Salipro BioTech AB. The initial message told me that I was advancing in the interview process for a position with their company in a new location that the were opening starting Feb 1 in Snellville GA. I was to talk to Sara Bonetti, who was in charge of hiring for this position. They were opening this location to have a new presence in the US due to the fact that they had just been given patents in the US and they need a facility here to manage the US operations. I went through the entire interview (which was like any other interview that I have had) Then in the end they told me they would let me know if I would advance to the next phase of process after they discussed the interviewees with their colleagues. I later did get a response from them and they stated that I was being offered the position. During the next steps they stated I would need to provide information that for a new hire if I choose to accept the position. At the end of all this they then started asking about my bank accounts and how I would like to be paid (check or direct deposit). It was then pushed for direct deposit since my pay would come from the corporate office overseas and a check would have delays. They requested a I send a voided check or have the bank give me a direct deposit form with my account information. I told them I was in between banks due to moving and I would need to find another local bank once I was settled and I would prefer a check until I could get an account set up. They then blocked all my calls and will no longer return my emails.
