I was sent a text message from a recruiter after filling out applications online. They connected me with the hiring manager via Microsoft Teams. We chatted on Teams, then I was directed to the company website. The site itself warns against scammers. I asked if it was a scam and got no response.

Email was sent to me saying they saw my resume on job site called & then offered me a job as a Administrative Personal Assistant for a Angela Wheeler that was the hearing impaired & then they sent me a check for $4000, took it to my bank & it was declined because it is fraudulent

Offered me a fully remote administrative assistant job via text after a phone interview then asked me to continue messaging the HR Manager Charisse Sheridan via a messaging app called Signal. She then told me they would FedEx me a check overnight to pay for equipment for the remote job. I would be expected to purchase the equipment before the job starts. The envelope I received came from Honeywell in Pheonix AZ and the check was written from Dans Snowplowing in New York. I called the bank (Evans Bank in New York) to verify the check and they confirmed that there were not funds for that amount available. I called Dans snowplowing service and asked if they are affiliated with Intrance Medical Systems and the person that answered said they didn’t know. I responded to the HR manager that the process was suspicious and she said they had unusual hiring practices. They asked me what bank I use and recommended depositing the check in an ATM. I did not deposit the check.

Working hours:

This is a remote job requiring approximately 35hours per week (You can work less hours as part time). You can work anytime and any day as working hours are completely flexible.

Pelle Pharm Biotechnology will take full responsibilities of providing you with all office equipment you will need to fulfil your work. You will also undergo two weeks of training online from your home via video conference with your training supervisor and you will be paid $25\hr for the first 3days of training and later goes up to $28\hr. The training Hours is scheduled between yourself and the supervisor as it's convenient for you if hired.

You will be eligible for Benefits after 4 weeks of working with the company.
