I was finding a job on Linkin and this company send me a message. The manager I was talking to is Cabrera D. Martin. He sent me a assessment test and did an online interview before on my old company I did an online interview too so I thought this one might be legit also and since I really wanted to work remotely I accepted the offer he send me via email. He send some documents I need to fill up including my personal details and ssn since he told me they need it for employment. I also ask my husband if it is necessary to provide my ssn but he told me that most companies need it for background check LOL he also think its legit!

So “Mr Martin” told me he will send me the computer that I need to use for my remote job and he will also send me a check that I will use to buy a specific equipment for my work. He send me the check electronically and I the check in my bank at first it was accepted so I thought it was legit! After a few days the my bank emailed me saying the check bounce back! I called my bank and good thing the guy I spoke to was straight to the point saying that it might be a scam I also scam. I told “Mr Martin” that the check did not went through and he told me another lie which he wanted me to open a bank account to a different bank so I can have my own card to there company! He gave me a name and ssn from a random guy and told me to call this military bank and pretend he is my father so they will let me have an account and they can get my acc# and routing.

At this moment I knew now it is a scam and they just wanted me to open a account so they can loan money under my name. I immediately went to SSN to report the incident and called my bank to put layers of security since he knows my information! And now Im too paranoid given me so much anxiety! If they will use my info. Good thing my bank told me they cannot open a loan under my name since now bank required physical SSN, ID and identity check. Also I went to my local tax to check if they will try to file, and same thing they also need a lot of verification and identification check. So at this point Im relieved!

If u guys planning to apply do not use LikeIn and Indeed. Before this is a great app on employment but now there are so many scammers who just wanted to get your info for their own benefits!

A random LinkedIn message to my girlfriend started this all, just like the other reports. I was immediately skeptical of the Microsoft Teams link, so I forwarded it to my email, and opened it in a Virtual Machine so it could not read any data on my computer if it was a direct phishing link or virus of some sort. In speaking with Mr. Cabrera D. Martin, I immediately searched his name and every variation of those 3 names/initial came up - except "his". I didn't even click on the link which on hover appeared to be for a Google Forms page. I searched "Mr. Cabrera D. Martin
Caribbean Couriers Inc" and this page came up - surprisingly I had searched the WebCPE and Kartik Saha and didn't see anything relating to the scam, but now that I've typed it, hopefully it does.

If you encounter a scammer, I advise you to take all the screenshots and copy all links possible so that they can be shut down easier. They will erase their tracks the minute they have a chance. Unfortunately, I was copying and taking screenshots and apparently took too long, so they erased their messages and are no longer messaging me.

I was immediately clued in on the inability to find a Caribbean Courier.ORG - there was a .COM in multiple places. This is to confuse people who don't understand that these are two completely separate addresses and though the "company name" is the same, it is a common tactic to redirect traffic.
Yes, Mr. Cabrera D. Martin of Caribbean Couriers Inc is FAKE.

I was reached out to via a random person on LinkedIn for a job I had applied to. They had said that the position had been filled, but to reach out to a contact at Caribbean Courier for a remote data analyst position. I had an "interview session" on Microsoft Teams with a Mr. Cabrera D. Martin, who then congratulated me and emailed some job forms. Everything looked legit down to the updated W-4. I was very close to sending my information before I decided to research the company more. The thing that made me the most skeptical was that I was being emailed from [email protected] while the website contact email was [email protected]. Futhermore, the person who had initially contacted me on LinkedIn's profile was completely gone. I decided to check the ScamPulse.com website because the email had mentioned this "company" being ScamPulse.com accredited as well as one of the winners of the 2019 Integrity Award. There is no info. This company doesn't exist. Please beware of other remote job scams like this. I almost gave out too much personal information that would have bit me in the behind!

I had applied for a position for a company called Web CPE and the “recruiter” reached out stating that the position was filled but an affiliate company had an opening that matched my resume and referred me to the point of contact for Caribbean Courier via email or teams. The messages seemed legit and he even provided the company website and some onboarding google docs explaining the company. During the back and forth on teams it was asked if I had a bank account I insisted I wouldn’t provide that information until hired and filling out direct deposit forms. After 2 days I was offered a job and sent information via email. The bottom of the email had images of ScamPulse.com awards and all attached employment forms looked real. Since being asked about my bank I have been skeptical so I attempted to look up the company on ScamPulse.com and there is no record. I then google the company and the ONLY thing online about them in their website. I then look up their location and they state they’re located in St Martin. I google couriers in St Martin and they do not appear.
