SCAM!!!!! [email protected]

Received an email from [email protected] claiming to be HR assistant for Carinabiotech.com and offering a $35 an hour job that i never applied for. The email came from gmail address and not a company address (red flag), they want you to download Skype to chat with another scammer [email protected] and insist on providing you with a registration code because it wouldn't work without that (another red flag). No legit company conducts an interview this way, never! Stay away! will be reporting both emails.

I received an email from ************************ stating that my resume was viewed via CareerBuilder and that I possess the skills that they were looking for. They asked me for a briefing/interview via Skype the next day. During that interview ************************* asked me several questions then within seconds I miraculously was offered a position. They asked me for my mailing and email address. The next day they emailed me an offer letter saying that I will begin 2/13/2023 making $35/hr with full benefits as a part-time hire. And, mailed me a check from ******** ******** *** **** ****** *** for $4,500 for an Apple Computer. **** *** ****? I will definitely be shredding this check and blocking them from being able to contact me.
