I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have been facing regarding the non-return of my security deposit by Carlos Hernandez, the sublessor me of the property located at 2823 Ursa Circle Garland, Texas. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.
I rented the property from August 28th 2022 to March 31st 2023 and fulfilled all the terms and conditions of the lease agreement. I left the property in good condition, adhering to the move-out checklist provided by the landlord. Despite fulfilling my obligations, the sublessor has failed to refund my security deposit of $250, which was paid at the commencement of the lease.
I have attempted multiple times to communicate with Mr. Hernandez regarding the return of my security deposit. He has blocked me from all cash-receiving websites and I have also made numerous phone calls, but all my attempts have been met with silence and unresponsiveness.
I firmly believe that the withholding of my security deposit is unjustified and in violation of my rights as a tenant. I have diligently fulfilled my responsibilities, and I have strong evidence to support my claims, copies of all correspondence, and a copy of the signed lease agreement.
I am now left with no choice but to seek legal intervention to ensure the return of my security deposit. I kindly request that you consider this letter as my formal complaint and initiate the necessary proceedings to resolve this matter.
