Contacted the fake breeder who requested the payment in full via Zelle. $1,050. Itinerary was promised the next day (3/23/21). Email sent this morning to “confirm“ correct address dog to be delivered to. Then a call made to reply to email. Next a second email sent to me requesting additional funds from me $970 for “insurance deposit“?? This was never discussed prior to today. I became suspiciois and informed the man with a nigerian accent that I wouldnt be sending anymore money however would contact athorities. I also requested a refund. That was it no further emails or messaging like the day prior. I immediately notified my bank. Also note worthy they pushed to take a pic of Zelle transaction and also “sign a contract“. The contract was stating that you agree to care for dog and not send to shelter ans how the dog should be seen by a Verinarian within “72 hours“ of arriving at your home.
