This is Kevin from Cash App Support and I'm taking over of this case. I understand sending money to someone you did not want might be unsettling. I can explain more about what's going on.
I understand this is not the answer you were expecting, however, please keep in mind that Cash App is unable to cancel or refund this payment. Please resolve this issue with the recipient directly.
Usually, I would recommend trying to retrieve the funds from the recipient, but I see you have already tried so, my advice would be to try and resolve this outside of Cash App.

Finally, they responded and said there is nothing they can do. I feel CASHAPP is running a scam and it's possible someone within their customer service is stealing people's money and CASHAPP has no security measures to protect the consumer or to start an investigation and retrieve the stolen money. This company should be thoroughly investigated because there are several complaints about this company and it seems no one is regulating their actions.
