I received a call to tell me I had won a sweepstakes in the amount of $8.5 million. They said they were calling from Florida but the number was an Idaho number (208-398-6112). The person calling said his name was Mr. Washington. I also talked with a Mr. Damian Walker who claimed to be the accountant for the company. I was given the name of the supposed local accountant who would be delivering the certified check. This person was Olga Drozdyuk at Cash Awards, 3600 W. Ustick Rd., Meridian, ID 83640.

I was told I needed to wire $500 from a Western Union before they could deliver the check.

I knew that this was a scam but I was very surprised because they knew quite a bit of my personal information. I hope that with some information these scammers might be caught.
