I almost fell for this scam also, the same person named Jason Smith called me and left me a voicemail to call them back and I did, it was strange to me that he had a Indian accent with a caucasian accent.
at that moment I saw a red flag that this could be a scam
I will not call them anymore.

I was trying to find a loan to help me consolidate my bills into `1 payment. I kept receiving phone calls from this place, and I thought I would see what it was about. I was desperate for help financially, and this person seemed like they wanted to help me. I was told that I was eligible for a loan of 8,000. When cash fast payday loan contacted me again, the supposedly senior loan officer Jason Smit, told me that he was making deposits into my bank account. Sadly I gave him all of my banking information. He called me and said that I needed to buy gift cards with this money, and to call him back when I was finished, with the information. I was blinded, and fell for this, kept believing in what he said about helping me with my credit score. The next day he said he was going to make 3 more deposits, and that I would be doing the same thing.These were bigger deposits, and after that, I would receive the loan. The first 2 checks were returned, turned out to be fraudulent, according to my now former bank. Also the next 3 he sent turned out to be fraudulent cashiers checks as well. Luckily the bank put a hold on those. When I went to the bank on the 11th, I was told all about this. They closed my account, and I was told that I could not any accounts in the future. When I was able to look at my statement, online, Iwas able to view the so called cashiers checks that were deposited. He signed my name on the back of the check, apparently to make it look like I deposited these checks. I dont have that kind of money, and it was very different from my signature. I don't know why the bank didnt check the signatures. I am very concerned , now that all my information is out there. The account is closed, and I did notify the credit bureaus about this activity. I have all the emails, and the texts that I had received with the images of the gift card he wanted me to get. I dont know what else to do. Can you help me? Thank you
