John Brown and Anthony were the names they used when they called stating they were a loan company from Texas. They told my husband and I we were approved for a loan but needed to build the credit score some. They would put some money into our checking account and then have us give it back using Google play cards. They Had us do several transactions of this saying it was building our credit then we could get our loan.

In Dec 21st went to use our bankcard and couldn't so we went to *** to *** Bank to see why we could not use them. We were heading to see family for Christmas. We were told that our account had been closed to a fraud scam. The bank even said we were participants and were actively participating in the scam. We informed them we didn't have any idea it was a scam; they told us it was a loan company. The bank said they were through with us and to find another bank to use. Gave us what we had in our account and we left. We do have a car loan open with them still.

I haven't heard anymore from the scammers since. We just want to be cleared and left alone by them and *** Bank.

We still have all the Google cards and letters sent to us from *** Bank.

The scammers had us send them all together a little over $2,000.
