I got scammed. I reported it to the local police and flagged them on payment sites. They also sold me a puppy for cheap saying they had another litter coming. Offered free shipping. They sent me contract to sign. As soon as money was sent they did not send an email or text message. I called asking for delivery date and they sent email from a express shipping firm saying I needed to pay another $ 1500 for a climate controlled crate and they would reimburse me $ 1470 after delivery. That is when I got suspicious and found out it was all a scam. They answer your emails instantly until they get your money. After payment , no email , no text messages. Do not Zillow or Venmo money, no way to get money back. Make sure when you making any online payments for anything do it during weekdays so you can get money back quickly. Do PayPal or bank to bank, you have recourse to get money back. Never give any personal information. Do research and take your time. Don’t let them hurry you into making a payment.

Several Havanese puppy websites have the same pictures and a cheap price. The ask you to send the cost of the puppy via Zelle. On the day the puppy is due the say there was something wrong with their free shipping coupon and now you need to send the shipping company another $990 via Zelle. DONT DO IT!

I got the same exact letter also offering me Nola at a reduced price. Thank you for warning me.. I also lost $680 via Zelle to Havanese home so stay clear of them. After reading about these scams I asked Epic Havanese if we could do a video call. They refused so it’s a pretty good bet they too are scammers.

I just started to order from Cassy Havanese Breeders and realized the same letters are sent from "Christmas Havanese Puppies. This has to be a scam.nSame story about another litter coming so the current one has reduced price. The pictures are different but the rest is the same. Beware. They probably have several sites. Glad I found this site.

-We currently have free shipping coupons with our shipping agent to ship 4 puppies at no extra cost at the moment. So if you purchase a puppy from us while these coupons are still available, We will be able to ship the puppy for free or you will pay an extra $250 for shipping when the coupons are expired. We are located in Arkansas and if we are to ship we will be shipping from Little Rock, AR. We ship all over the USA and Canada .

We will like to know where exactly you are located (City & State). If you are local we can set up a day for you to visit our facility for pick up. We appreciate person pick ups but require a $300 deposit per puppy prior to that and then fixed a later date for you to visit us and collect your puppy. Free shipping is available as well for out of State and long distance buyers.

However, If you are ready to continue with the purchase, We will like to know the following information from you:- More about yourself, family, dog friendly neighborhood and experience with puppies?

- Also let me know if you will pick her up or you will like to benefit from our free shipping coupons?
- What will be your reaction if in case She destroys something worth 100$?
- Will you make a complete payment for us to start paperwork against shipment or pay a $300 deposit to put the puppy on hold for personal pickup?

Cassy Havanese Homes has a website advertising 9wk old Havanese puppies for purchase. They are priced extremely low ($499) for a purebred puppy and claim to offer free air flights to have the puppies shipped to you. They told me they were trying to get these puppies sold quickly as they had another litter on the way and that they ship so many puppies, the airlines often give them “coupons” for free flights!! The website pictures did not look “in sync” - if the puppy is only 9 weeks old - making it sometime in November in Philadelphia - would a person holding the dog be wearing summer clothes sitting on green grass?? The contact - “ Jeffrey Hugman”, would not send pictures of the puppies parents or show me the AKC documentation. He wanted me to send money thru Western Union. Too many Red Flags here so fortunately, I backed out. Then - I started searching if this was a scam - and sure enough found Cassy Havanese Homes on several scam sites. I am a lucky one - but how many others have been robbed financially and emotionally?? Site is still active as I write this...
