Cathect called my mother and stated her land line was being discounted by AT&T. This is untrue and was stated as a fact. We later called AT&T to see when the last day of service was, and learned they had no plans to end service in our area. Cathect lied to create a need for their product to be sold to replace the AT&T landline. My mother is 73 years old and this company is preying on senior citizens. My mother signed up for the service but once we learned AT&T was not ending service we called Cathect back and cancelled. We will see if they try to bill my mother anyways.
