I placed a $300 deposit for a dog. When the dogs were born, they requested $450 for the registration and to select the pup. I was given an address that turned out to be a vacant lot - all correspondence was through text. They tried to get me to double pay the 450 due to a problem with Venmo on their end, but I refused. Then they wanted me to pay the remaining balance of $250. I refused until I selected my dog. This is clearly a scam and I'd rather prevent someone else from going down this rabbit hole.
