I was looking for a reputable breeder for Cavapoo puppies in Utah. I found their Instagram page and then followed the link to their website. The website had all of the information to identify them as a good breeder. I filled out an application giving information about myself and family. They reached out over text asking for more info. We decided on a puppy that I would adopt. They asked for $500 over Apple Pay. When the number they wanted the money sent to was different then the number I was corresponding with, I felt uneasy. Once we started looking into the website, a reverse image search showed that all the images were taken from other places. We then found other inconsistencies and realized this was a scam. We stopped all contact.
