Saw ad seemed legit, ordered “1 bottle get 1 free” $59. Card was charged $230.40 initially declined, another attempt under different company name was declined. 3rd charge attempt under another company named was approved. No contact info or receipt provided by scam vendor.

A health product, Joint Plus CBD Gummies, promoted in a link in a Facebook post was deceptive. I thought I was purchasing one bottle (30 gummies) of product for $39.99 and would receive an additional bottle free. After I provided credit card information, the total billing was $239.88. within minutes, I contacted customer support and was told the product had shipped immediately from distributor and I could not cancel the order. The customer service person offered me a $60 credit to my credit card on the $239.88 purchase. I accepted the offer and received 6 bottles of product. Exactly one month later, another transaction charge for $179.88 was attempted on my credit card and my credit card provider declined payment and notified me of the attempted charge appearing as JOINTPLUSPRODUCTS. I notified the bank of the attempted fraud because I had not contacted the seller. I cancelled my credit card and am awaiting a replacement card. The advice I got from my bank was not to ever buy anything advertised on Facebook. Instead, try to find a legitimate seller in a web search, but still be skeptical of online sellers.

I GOT AN ADD ON THE INTERNET FOR CBD GUMMIES AND GAVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD INFO. THEN I SAW THE AUTOMATIC SHIPMENTS. AT THIS POINT I DID NOT COMPLETE THE ORDER OR AUTHORIZE IT. I BACKED OUT AND ERASED MY CARD INFO. THEY NEVER SENT ME ANY CBD GUMMIES. THEY CHARGED MY CARD TWICE FOR A TOTAL OF $479. MY VISA ACCOUNT HONORED THE ORDER I DID NOT MAKE OF 239.99! NOW I HAVE A BILL ON MY VISA CARD FOR 239.99. CARDHOLDER SERVICES IS IN TAMPA, FL AT 888-918-7322. I AM ALSO DISCUSSED WITH ILLINOIS COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION. I WILL BE CHANGING BANKS AND CREDIT CARDS!

They showed an add features Dr. Oz. He never endorsed the product. The checkout stated a total of $39.99, but they attempted to draft $258.77 from my card. They are using a subscription model, so they'll attempt to charge me an excessive amount monthly.
