Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
Then, on October 18, 2021, I got an email from the same aforementioned email source indicating: “We’re getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.” And that charge was $89.95. I called the number to cancel and was not able to connect with a person. So, I wrote a reply to that email indicating I did NOT order this product and to please cancel this order and any subsequent orders related to my initial purchase. I did not receive any products but was charged $89.95.
On November 16, 2021, I got another email telling me: “Thank you for your purchase!” So, I sent another email to cancel the product and called the number on the bottle, (1-833-634-1931), and talked to Ricky. He said he would not cancel the current order, but I had to call back on December 11 to cancel further orders. I told him I did NOT want this order nor any further orders, but he refused to accept my cancellations. So, I told him I would take this issue with the Better Business Bureau noting this is fraudulent behavior. He asked me to wait and when he finally returned, he said he would cancel my order.
On November 18, 2021, I received another email from purefettleproducts.com saying, “Your items have shipped! Your order is on the way. Track your shipment to see the delivery status.” I called the number (833) 634-1931 and was not able to make contact, so I wrote another email response indicating that I did not order these products and to cancel my order and any subsequent order. I also found another number on the back of the CBD bottle 1-833-985-3118 and a man answered the phone and asked for the phone number associated with my account – when I gave him my number, he disconnected. So, I continued to try to get back in contact trying all possible options given and no one answered my calls.
In the next photo, you will see the Aspen product is on the right. And the scam products are on the left. Note how similar they look.
