Received via postal mail, "Final Notice" regarding a Home Warranty I never had needing to be renewed. Check attached for $299.00 to be used as "Registration Fee Voucher". Front of pull away tabs mailer states; "Current or Previous Lienholder: Colorado Fsb", "FINAL NOTICE", "Signature Required", and Postal mark with Eagle image states: "mailed from zip code 33310" and Presorted Std US Postage PAID Ft. Lauderdale, FL Permit No. 4810". Surely a phishing scam aimed at the elderly!

So obviously phony to me
Letter was addressed to my daughter who was never on my mortgage and who sadly passed away 5 years ago. Listed a mortgage company who I paid off two years ago. Feel like calling just to mess with them 😃 !

This does not have a Business address and email address. When I called the 1-800-349-0755 to be remove from the mailing list. the person sounded like 20 year old American male from DC/MD/VA/PA accent.

There were no conditions for use of the check. The information provided stated that if nothing was done in 5 days my home warranty would be revoked.
I do not have or ever had a home warranty contract.
I called a disclosed number and was told that it is a registration voucher which will cost me $172 monthly for 24 months.
I asked the representative how he got my name and told him it is a misleading solicitation. He implied that it was attached to my mortgage and that it extended my home warranty.
I told him I do not and never have had a home warranty.
He then told me I did not have to use the check.
He stated I was hostile.
This solicitation was extremely misleading as the check is real and there was no information regarding
the conditions of check. I had no intentions of cashing the check but feel it is a scam that could be attractive to someone who does not ask questions, especially an older person or a person need information the money.

I received a letter from CCHW stating that my warranty was going to expire and they would have the right to revoke my service eligibility if I do not respond within 5 days. I do not have a home warranty through this company. It also came with a check for $199.00 which was a registration fee voucher. I called them at the number they provided and asked them what this letter and check was for but I didn't provide them with any information.
