CCI*Hotel Reservations Reports & Reviews (75)

I booked a hotel through booking.com, for 2 nights. I paid for reservations at hotel. Later I seen a CCI*Hotel reservation on my credit card statement. I'd never heard of this company. I tried working with my credit card company, but the time limit had expired. I called CCI* and the person was speaking crazy, that he was new and that I called on Friday. I tried telling him that I never called this company before. I was charged $241.79, on credit card. My phone number is 3865461922. Margaret Ellington

My story sounds like most others. They set it up so I thought I was booking through Hilton. When I got their confirmation email, I realized it was not Hilton and canceled 5 minutes after making the reservation (which I noticed was 200 dollars higher than if I booked through Hilton). A month later I see that they had charged me anyway on my credit card statement. I called and the rep said it was company policy to charge no matter if I kept or canceled my reservation. I can see that the complaints about CCI/ getaroom.com/ guest reservations/ Priceline has been going on for years. It is obvious that they are purposely being deceptive and greedy and could care less about building a reputation or serving clientele. I hope a class action suit is being pursued on this company. There are easily enough people that they have deceived or gouged.

Would not change the dates OR cancel reservation. This all took place within 5 mins of booking. Got me for $600 and change .

CCI pretended to be the Manhattan Beach resort when I went online to reserve a room. I made a reservation in March '22 and on my way to the lodge in August '22 I called to confirm and they had no reservation. They charged my debit card $601.26 and never registered with the actual lodge. They had no record of my reservation. I ended up paying for the lodge as I didn't know I had been charged by CCI bookonline when I made the reservation. CCI is a 100% SCAM!

I checked into a Hampton Inn and woke up sick the next morning. I picked up the room phone to call the front desk to extend my stay. The phone didn’t work. I saw a phone number on the room phone and called it from my mobile phone. I thought I was calling the front desk. I realized I wasn’t speaking to the front desk but was told it was booking for Hilton who owns Hampton Inn and they could handle it for me. They did extend my stay and when I checked out I paid for my entire stay at the front desk. When I got my credit card statement I was not only charged by Hampton Inn but also $403 from CCI. I called the CCI number on the statement and was told they had no record of me. I then contacted the Hampton Inn manager who said I should dispute the CCI charges with my credit card company. I did that and Discover did not reverse the charge with CCI. I went back to the hotel manager and was told there was nothing they could do and they took no responsibility even though I got the phone number off the phone in my room. I have now filed a complaint with Hampton Inn corporate office. I haven’t gotten a response yet. This is a total scam! CCI should be shutdown and the hotels should assume some responsibility for this illegal activity!

THIS COMPANY DOES NOTHING BUT FRAUDULENT TRADE SERVICES. I BOOKED A HOTEL ROOM ON LINE AT AN EXTREMELY INFLATED RATE AND WHEN I SHOWED UP TO CHECK IN THE ROOM I BOOKED WAS NOT AVAILABLE NOR A SIMILAR ROOM OF THAT CALIBER. I FILED A DISPUTE FOR AND I AM WAITING FOR THE RESULTS. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR RESERVATIONS. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF WARNINGS ONLINE. BUYER BEWARE

I was foolish enough to become prey when booking a hotel room online, only to find out in the confirmation email that cci* Hotel Res was not really the Marriott site and was overcharging me by $100.06 above the price quoted by the hotel. The small print in the email indicated BOTH that I could NOT cancel a month in advance without being liable for the full amount, AND that the reservation was subject to hotel cancellation policy which is 48 hours! In spite of this and many other suspect “policy” notes in the email, **** ** ******* denied my claim to ignore the charge because I cancelled the reservation and was therefore subject to cci* Hotel Res policy. I got no satisfaction from Marriott, either, when I discussed the situation with them, though they are aware of fake sites, and although their desk clerk insisted that I needed to cancel the reservation before I could make a proper one over the phone. It is nearly impossible to contact the “merchant” ADJ/CCI* Hotel Res because they are operating fake websites and engaged in a scam-like business and telephoning only permits limited contact via robotic choices.

I made a pre-paid reservation through reservation.com for two nights at Hampton Inn. Then I get charged $304 by CCI. Contacted reservation.com and Hampton Inn and both said they don't deal with CCI and they didn't charge my credit card. I called CCI and was told to contact reservation.com. I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. CCI is a scam. I don't know how they got hold off my credit card.

I thought I was talking to Marriott, owner of Atlantis. I made 2 reservations and was charged 334.54 for each! I disputed the charge with my credit card company, but they denied it. I am more than irritated! If hotels are using this service, they should tell the purchaser!

I had the same thing happen only with Hampton Inn. They take no responsibility and refuse to refund my $403. It is impossible to talk to anyone at CCI. My Discover card would not reverse the charges to CCI. It’s a total scam! From what I can tell it’s been going on for several years too!

CCI hotel reservation
I went online to make a reservation at the Charlevoix Inn and suites. Well somehow a third party got ahold of it and added a service fee for a $96.26. They did book the room, when I saw the charge on my credit card, I called CCI and complained they offered 15% discount, I refused, I asked them to cancel the reservation they told me they would refund me the money and it takes 4 to 5 days, but after reading all the complains from other people I called Citi Cards and filed dispute. How come that Google is allowing these scammers to hijack the web site intended and your personal info and adding extra charge on the account. My advice after what happened to me and others is to call the Hotel directly.

I went online to make a reservation at the Hampton Inn and suites. Well somehow a third party got ahold of it and added a service fee for a 113.69. It’s says it’s A Tax recovery charge..I called them and told them to cancel the reservation and they told me it’s non - refundable.. so we are going to file a fraudulent charge with our credit union and go from there. Please beware of these people. Scammers.

I accidentally booked a reservation for the Hilton in Philly through their website thinking i was booking through Hilton. They took $741 from me then cancel my reservation and still kept my money. I called as soon as i realized my mistake the customer rep was being an ultimatum d*ck. He than offered me a 18% refund but never gave me a confirmation email of proof. I ask for it they said they would send. Nothing. I ask to speak with a manager, i got nothing. So basically this is a company who is stealing peoples money with no consequences.

I booked a hotel reservation in Niagara Falls Ontario only to move ahead with the booking process to determine my final costs. I thought I was on the hotels direct booking line but somehow this third party took over my screen. I wasn't sure what a tax recovery charge/fee was as I had never heard of this before and proceeded to see what the final cost of a standard hotel room would be. I got to that page and before I could say GO, and with NO: "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT" OR THE LIKE...the notice that my reservation was made was final. I knew I had been had and in looking at the fine print, I see the reservation was NON-REFUNDABLE. Wow, ouch, darn ... I had just been ripped off. The amount is about three times what I would normally pay had I gone directly to the hotel site or a reputable third party booking agency. I HAVE NO CLUE WHO THESE GUYS ARE BUT I GOT SCAMMED.
Be careful out there...

Exactly wht happened to me, but I booked 2 rooms cause I was on spring break with my kids and the hotel only found 1 room reserved for us. I had to pay for another room and I’m waiting to get my money back, NEVERRR AGAIN!

A scam booked a room on 2/26/22 for Rodeway Inn, the hotel had a false virtual record with false info. No refunds, Rodeway denies all responsibility according to Nirav Banker a manager. Trying to get a refund through my Aspire card.

They charge fees that are almost as much as a room. Booked with them and even though the hotel.told me they would refund bc of roaches in my room. I had to call who I booked with and have them contact them. These people wanted me to get a letter stating this. The hotel person didn't say I had to. I am traveling with an Autistic child to a funeral and didn't think to get something like that. Never had to. Others call the hotel and then it's worked out when I have had to cancel bc of the location being unsafe at another hotel. This one though doesn't care what so ever. They even took it off to look like they did and days later after doing that took it off my card. Bc of them I will never book through anyone like them. It was convenient but getting done like this is worse. Rather take my chances just picking a place then paying.

We recently booked a room online and did not realize it was processing through CCI*Reservations. When our credit card bill was received, the amount was significantly more than stated at the time of the reservation. The hotel (Candlewood Suites) received a payment from Priceline in the amount of $156.76. However, our credit card was charged in the amount of $238.36. That is $81.60 over the reservation amount. I'm not sure where Priceline comes into this transaction as they claim we did not book a room through them. Have been working on this issue for over a week and no one seems able to resolve. We will see what happens. It appears there are numerous issues with CCI*Hotel Reservations!

Yes they get their money from it and then say they can't refund no matter what even if the place you stayed is disgusting.

They double booked me and on each they added fees so that they were $150 more than if booked directly with the hotel.

I made a reservation on death valley website for 3 nights, the site showed free cancelation & can cancel 48 hrs prior to arrival date with full refund, total was 860.10 plus tax, when I received an email I noticed the charge was $1134.00, they charged $232.42 reservation charge, I cancelled the ticket, right away and also notified my credit card company right away, at first they gave me credit but now they are charging me stating they rule in favor of CCI hotel, later on I found out that in confirmation email they send me they also stated that the reservation is not refundable, misleading, I have no idea how I was switched to these guys at time of purchase, the total also should $780.30 at the time of reservation, the credit card company is Apple/ Goldman sack, they stated in the email I can request for the document that shows the proof for the decision and I can request to have them, but when I asked they are totally ignoring me, I am still disputing this and will not give up till this is heard all over, can’t stand these companies, they also in reservation confirmation stated that none refundable is hotel policy, this is another lie, I called the hotel and they don’t have such a policy,
