There are at least four emails associated with this fraudulent job opportunity - [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]. I was contacted first by a Diana Stewart advising of the opportunity to work from home spell checking and correcting the english of correspondence internally and with customers. The job entailed being sent 'x' amount of "texts" that needed to be worked to have more fluent english text, advised that compensation would be $7 per 1 kb of text to be checked, the pay would be sent through PayPal, and that you were started on a trial basis (1-2 weeks) and would be compensated accordingly. After repeatedly questioning the validity of this work, my inquiries were always rebuffed that this was a legit job opportunity. I engaged with the work; however, after a 1 - 1.5 weeks I received an email stating they had a manager job available that would entail receiving checks or cash, depositing it into my bank account, and transforming it into cryptocurrency for those I was "working for." After forcefully imploring them to just pay me for work already done, all email correspondence stopped and was never paid for my work or time. If you receive any email from the above addresses, or it references the website https://www.cdon.no, it is a scam.
