Type of a scam :Moving
We found this company through Groupon. The company said they could wrap our furniture and they were insured in the case of damaged property. The movers came 4 hours late. They said another move took longer than expected due to the rain. We later found out, through casual conversation, the movers sat at Freddy's for a few hours before starting our move.
When the movers unloaded our items they unwrapped the glass table before carrying it up 3 flights of stairs. I could hear the table banging against the apartment walls before the bottom glass piece shattered into a million pieces. The movers did not have anything to clean up the glass so, I had to remove all of then glass pieces from the carpet with a vacuum. In addition, I had to ask the movers to take the broken table out of the apartment because it was no longer functional and I have an infant. This is clearly a safety hazard.
30 minutes before the move was complete we received a call from the movers' boss demanding payment so they could release the rest of our property. Cee Porter tried to refund us $85 dollars for the broken table. In which I replied, "the table cost more than the move." When I walked to the truck to see what needed to be unloaded, I saw the movers sitting on our couch. How unprofessional.
We filed an insurance claim and no one from then company has provided a status update. Also, no confirmation email was sent. In fact, Cee Porter blocked our numbers.
PLEASE save yourself the headache and some money. DO NOT use this "company".

Type of a scam Moving
The company showed up 5 hrs late on moving day and did not bring any tools or supplies for the move such as screw drivers, shrink wrap, blankets etc.
The company damaged over $4,000 worth of furniture. The company broke my bed due to improper disassembly, the side rail is split and all bolts and screws damaged. They also faked assembly of my bed only for me to sit on it and it completely collapses. When I removed my mattress all of the screws were under my bed in a ziploc bag.
They damaged dresser drawers due to improperly taking them out and shoving them back in. The rails on the drawers have completely fallen off.
They also broke tables and large mirrors.
I have made several phone call attempts, left voicemails, texts and have not heard anything back from the company. The company responded once asking for pictures and I sent upon request and they have not responded.
I am also upset because I left a tip to both movers and they were not honest about breaking my bed, tables, drawers due to improperly taking them out and shoving them back in, and faking a assembled bed only for me to sit on it and it completely collapses. I was told by Samuel once I made him aware of bed that his manager would call, it has now been 7 days and I have not heard anything back.
This has been horrible service and I am not being ignored due to the lack of training of associates of your company. A lot of damage could have been avoided if proper tools had been used such as shrink wrap, covers and etc.
