I, too, applied on Indeed for a job as an Administrative Assistant and received an email that the job was filled but their was an opportunity to apply for a PA position. I responded to the email and was sent an email that said congrats I had it...with it came instructions of being sent a check and purchasing things for orphans. I deleted it...thinking they wouldn't hear from me and that would be that. WRONG. Came home this afternoon to a UPS envelope, in it was a "check" for $7,890.48. Then an email telling me again what I needed to do with it and to let her know when it was done. Looking now to see who I can send this to.

Applied on indeed for a job to Creative Countertop Solutions and received an email that the job was filled but there was an opportunity to apply for a PA position. I applied and was contacted via email/ phone messaging. They had me create a job listing on indeed for them and then asked for my ID picture and SSN for background checking. I asked for verification of their identification before sending mine over and they got hostile. And now will not answer.
