I tried to purchase a puppy online with a seller from TX. It seemed legit at first. I spent $500 upfront for the puppy which is a reasonable price. Once the breeder "sent" the dog to the courier, that's when it went downhill. All of a sudden I had to pay $770 for a crate, then $880 for papers, then $1600 for life insurance. So far I paid $500, $770, and $880. When the life insurance came up that's when I realized something was wrong.

I am one of those people that got caught in a scam and didn't realize it. The courier itself is Vision Courier. Their email is [email protected]. The number I have for them is 915-243-0370.

the $880 was done by AMEX gift cards.

I have lost a lot of money because of this and it's embarrassing that I didn't figure it out sooner.
