IGUAL SITUACION

Recibí un mensaje de texto de una persona que decía ser Cassey Jones y me agregaron a Microsoft Teams. Realizaron una entrevista falsa para Cellestia Biotech.

La entrevista se realizó a través de mensajes en Microsoft Teams y fue para un puesto de entrada de datos, así como para varios otros puestos. Hicieron una serie de preguntas estándar en una entrevista y luego me dijeron que se comunicarían con su departamento de recursos humanos y que se comunicarían conmigo pronto, lo cual solo tomó unos minutos. Luego dijeron que la entrevista fue un éxito y elogiaron mis calificaciones.

Dijeron que necesitaría una MacBook de Apple y que me enviarían un cheque por la mañana, lo cual me pareció extraño. Mirando en línea, veo que realizaron una estafa muy similar con una dirección de correo electrónico, un número de teléfono y un nombre de empresa ligeramente diferentes.

I got a text message from a person claiming to be Cassey Jones and they added me on Microsoft Teams. They conducted a fake interview for Cellestia Biotech.

The interview was all through messages in Microsoft Teams and was for a Data Entry position as well as several other positions. They asked a series of standard interview questions and then told me that they will be contacting their HR department and will get back to me soon, which only took a few minutes. Then they said that the interview was a success and praised my qualifications.

They said that I will need an Apple MacBook and they will be sending me a check in the morning which struck me as odd. Looking online I see they performed a very similar scam with a different email address, phone number, and a slightly different company name.

Contacted by text. Message offering data entry work from home employment sent interview questions by text thru Microsoft Teams App interviewed by Casey sometimes Cassey Jones typical interview questions were used about 15 questions total answered them all then I was advised both my resume/interview responses were impressive asked to review and sign and return job offer letter whixch would be arriving in the morning an email from HR to my email address and to meet the following morning again with Casey Jones on Teams App for instructions of receiving a tracking number for a check from them to deposit in my bank account to purchase laptop mentioned Apple Laptop and software. And important I follow their exact instructions to purchase from a vendor after seeing two reported ScamPulse.com scam reports I realized it is a scam and responded to withdraw my application and requested for No check be sent. Thankful dodged a bullet only issue is I did provide two personal references with phone numbers before I realized possible scam please be aware if company is legit they send or deliver you their own equipment and purchasing equipment is never asked.
