I received an email from a company, Celltrion, about a job opportunity. I was in contact with the hiring manager, Kevin Morrow, explaining the position, and what it offers. The hiring manager did have me complete a W-4 form. The hiring manager explained to me at one point that the finances in the company were not sufficient and had asked me to purchase a $2000 laptop. I declined. Hiring manager also stated that if I had completed a specific assignment that I would get a $150 check I have not received that. The hiring manager sent me an email stating that I would be receiving a start a check of $5000. When I did receive the check, I was instructed to cash it into the bank. Two days later I received a notification from my bank stating that the check was fraudulent.
