Purchased copper scrap from a Supplier in South Africa (OJB Enterprise) found on www.ec21.com Was advised the product was shipped via Centaur Shipping Line and provided tracking details. After product never arrived contacted Centaur Shipping as was advised that a payment $1500 was required for freight insurance and payment should be made to Seller. A week later was advised shipment was stuck in Customs pending customs documentation and an additional $800 was requested to complete documents. Again, payment was to be sent to Seller and upon payment a waybill# and copies of all documentation would be provided. Two days later was advised an additional $590 was required to have shipment released from demurrage and to be paid to Seller. Again, requested proof if shipment and was advised it could not be provided until $590 was paid. Denied payment as Centaur advised shipment would be moved to quarantine if not paid by 1pm and shipment would be put up for auction. Denied payment.
