I received a recording on my phone stating that I had 2 civil cases against me with a attempt to defraud a credit company and that they attempted to deliver correspondence to my address. They left their phone number so I called back to discuss the call. They said I owed a company called payday for you now and that the loan originated at 500.00 and is now approximately 1,800 but they could settle at 911.23 something like that. They had last 4 of my social last 4 of my bank account number name of bank hone address and offered to settle out of court. I spoke to a woman named Heather said her ext was 404 and was for voice-mail purposes only and spoke also to a man named Jason. I am homeless and in a hotel and didn't remember ever applying for this so called payday loan but they said it could be another creditor like advance America or speedy cash and I wasn't sure so I made a payment from debit card for $113.96 signed electronically to also have 113.96 taken out of my account on debit card for next 7 months. Unfortunately my account was debited for 113.96 under name called LAT for...processing I realized It was a scam had to call my bank cancel my debit card and report it while trying to get my money back.
