Center-link - Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

- Clarkston, WA, USA • Apr 12, 2024

I received a text from a “recruiter” telling me they were impressed with my resume & to connect with Thomas Hayes on Signal & gave me the number.

An interview was conducted with him & he offered the job at a much higher than market rate. He then told me he would be sending a check to purchase a specific list of supplies needed for the job but did not give a vendor or link information. I finally received the check with a hyper-generic, over/poorly copied note written from “Mr. John Lewis” instructing to send an email to [email protected] informing how the check was spent & when. When I confronted “Thomas Hayes” about the lack of communication from a manager or HR Department he tried calling but hung up. I did catch that there was a heavy accent that would not aline with someone named “Thomas Hayes”. He then just instructed me to go to any Apple Store as if the entire list of supplies would be found there (they would not).
