I thought I called Center Point energy. They said their automatic system was down. They asked my address and the last four digits of my ss#.

Hired by Center Point Energy and told I needed to purchase the equipment and that they would send me a check. I did purchase the equipment and received a check. Only communicated over email, would not give me a phone number. My bank will not let me deposit the check because they think its a scam. My equipment has not arrived yet. The hiring manager told me - over email - to let him know when I received the check.
