I was initially contacted via email for a position and was followed immediately by phone call and voicemail. Was sent a very vague job description with the city it was located in and 2 client names. Sent a resume and expressed interest. Like most job seekers looked for the client company in the city indicated to find out what they did and where were located within the city to find out what the commute would be. Could not find either client companies in the city, so I contacted the city itself and they had no record of the companies ever being in the city. Tried contacting the clients directly from the numbers on the website and phones were disconnected. Contacted the recruiter again and was given a different company name and address. The address turned out to be someone's home. After multiple emails and calls , was given another company name and address. Actually found the company and location this time, but their business was completely different than initial clients. Found their website and called their corporate HQ in TX to find out if the position was valid and they told me that they had no positions open at my local site and had no knowledge of the recruiter's company. Followed up with the recruiter and told them what I found out and was given the runaround. As I have already had my ID stolen last year this was getting too questionable to continue. A company never dealt with before, foreign names and broken English speaking recruiter and no valid client to contact I told them to never contact me again. Went to their website and submitted request to be taken off of any future contact.

Called and left a voicemail, I returned the call. Asked if I would like to take a customer service job. I said yes to perform my personal investigation. He asked for my pay rate request. He asked for; first and last name, DOB, and last 4 of SSN, and proceeded to say that the information was needed to perform my BGD check. All of this and I hadn’t gotten notified of being a candidate for this position, hadn’t been invited to nor attended an interview.

After he asked for the last 4 of my social i gave a random group of numbers and a random DOB, I hung up and blocked the phone number.
