I placed my resume in Zip Recruiter for a parttime job. I was contacted by this company for payroll assistant position. I was interviewed via text and offered the job via email. I accepted and started the on boarding process. I provided all my information via email and text, as this was a virtual position. I work from home. I purchased all that was told to me, a new printer, business checks, envelopes and labels. All the checks and labels that I had to print were always received via email. I then receive my first paycheck via email for me to print. I did, and I also called the bank that it was issued from. They told me that the check was good. I made the deposit into my back, and all went through. I continued to work and print the checks and documentation that they sent me. I received a second check the following month, from a different back, I called them, and they would not tell me if the check was good, but I deposited it anyways, trusting Century services. That check processed and went through as well. On the third month, my bank account was frozen, and all my money was put on hold. When I called my back, they told me that the first deposited for $3500 had been returned unpaid. I contacted my "supervisor" and she said that she would look into it. She stated that finance would send me a check with my pay for that month, and the $3500 that had been returned. I again, received it via email and printed it out. I deposited in person at the bank, but the funds were never released, again, this $6500 was not a good check. When my back try to cash it, the account was unable to be located. I again, contacted my "supervisor" and explained the situation. I also requested that the next payment should be a cashiers check. She said she would check again with financed, then got back to me and told me that a cashiers check would be issued to me. When I recieved this check for $3500 this time, I called the back issuing it, and the bank couldn't locate the check number in their database. So again, the check is bad. I have contacted my "supervisor" but have not heard anything back yet.

I do not know what kind of scam this is, but I have lost $3500 so far. I am requesting this company is investigated, and reported fraudelent. I all the documentation ever received from this company including, check, emails, and addresses check were sent to, which I will furnish upon request.
