Product or Service: Someone from HR Dept. will introduce business as an international marketing company buying merchandise from suppliers like Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and many other reputed businesses and supply to national and international retailers/customers. You are asked to receive packages, Inspect, Repack goods and dispatch as per procedure laid down online dash board on the very same day shipment received. You will get bonus of $ 40 for every shipment you dispatch on the same date otherwise you will lose bonus. All reshipment activities from the comfort of your home. Packages comes to your home address you will send after repacking to customers per shipping labels sent on line to your computer. You will print tracking label at your end and ship packages through nominated carriers per their instructions.
Tactic Scammer Used: 1. Packages shipped will not come from any business nor from employer who hired you. Packages come from unknown person to your home address. After receiving package you have to open outer box as per instructions from employer and not to open the box inside and then repacking and ship out. When you ship merchandise out after repacking, tracking label sent by employer doesn’t have the company name but your name as shipper. So you don’t know material received is illegal, or contraband or unlicensed. In case material received in and shipped out is unlawful you will be held responsible and not the employer / Scammer.
2. All the expenses incurred for receiving, inspecting and dispatching at your end will be to your account. Employer / Sammer will say expenses paid by you will be reimbursed at the end of month when your payroll is run.
3. At the end of month when you are supposed to get your salary and bonus I understand the company is closed and you will not able to reach any one in the office. You cannot login to web site, you cannot reach any one over phone because all phone lines are disconnected. Expenses you paid is gone and you will not get salary or bonus which comes to $ 3,600 at the end of month per contract signed. You will be held responsible for illegal shipments received and shipped out.
4. When you accept the job offered Human Resources wants you to upload Driver License per company’s policy. This is because employee handles merchandise on behalf of employer. So Identity theft chances are more. The opportunity to fall victim to identity theft has increased exponentially over the last few years. Bank account information also collected by accounts department saying company need to run the payroll at end of the month and wants to know bank info for direct deposit / mail checks. Further W4 form is asked to calculate tax deductible and that is how individual social security number collected from W4 form. All your personal information collected and the scammer can misuse at any time the way he wants to at a later date.
I was informed by friends during week end that repacking scam going on with Work From Home jobs when I was discussing about job offer. Even USPS, I was told, advertised in their web site about the repacking scams and cautioned everyone to be on alert and not to accept such type’s jobs. When I noticed what UPSE narrated in their website and things that happened with me all are the same I immediately decided to stop working with such units and brought to the notice of consumer protection departments what all happened with job offer. I am sending the complaint to ScamPulse.com for information and to let everyone know the consequences applying for such jobs as per consumer protection departments’ advice.

I was told immediately that I was hired. I was given the following options to be paid: Direct Deposit, Mail, or Pay Pal (this made me believe that it might be legit because I would not need to give them bank information as I could be paid by check in the mail). They also said they would be conducting a background check (another thing that made it sound legitimate).
Red Flags (to me): that I would be paid per "successful" package shipment (which did not include those that "passed inspection"). I was told upon hire that they needed my legal information "within the hour," the interview was way too quick and easy, and also they "pay once a month, at the end of the month"

They had me register on some kind of platform, they called it dashboard where I will be monitoring packages coming in for me to deliver to fedex, ups, usps and asked me to be logging into this dashboard at least 3 times a day, the next day I received a package and did what they told me took a photo uploaded it onto the dashboard took the package to ups and sent it, I asked the lady who worked at ups if she knew the company and she said she has never heard of it,yet they claimed that they were partners with usps, fedex and ups. After a while I had another package notification in my inbox and I was notified that it will be sent by fedex and that I should wait for it, I did but it did not arrive so I checked it’s tracking number on the dashboard and called the fedex near me and the fedex person said there was no package with that number, I asked him do you know a company called century post and does it deposit packages with fedex,he said he has never heard of it. This is when it clicked, a work from home job offering a salary of 2200$ and bonuses of 40$ and 80$ for packages with an average of 3600$ And only working for 3hours a day. It just seemed too good to be true. So I went on a researching spree, took another look at that electronic document cuz I had made a copy, there was so many grammar mistakes and the ceo was a name of a dead celebrity who died in the 80’s, the company has no website, nothing and all the while they were sending e-mail after email asking me to send my banking information where to send my salary to come, sending forms asking for social security number and all. That’s when I decided to block them all, both emails and numbers and now they are threatening to sue me for signing a contract and not fulfilling.
