I want you to be aware of the scam that my employee was subject too. They emailed making it look like it was from me the CEO.  They asked her to buy 4 $500 gift cards and send the information off the cards to them. She actually went through with purchasing one gift card before her bank flagged her account for fraud.  She called me and I found out what was going on.

They wanted her to send the information from the gift card and thankfully she hadn’t done that either before she talked to me.  So scary that she went this far with it!

She conversed back and forth with them over several emails. 

I’ve had a serious conversation with her and will be discussing my company meetings this week educating people! 

At least 2 other people in my office got emails from this same email address- in those they said I was asking for a meeting with them.
