After filing articles of organization for my LLC, this business targeted my filing by sending scam letter saying I am "required" to have a Certificate of Status, and made it appear as though they were affiliated with Sunbiz.org, or the State of Florida. I already received a Certificate of Status directly from Sunbiz, which only costed a few dollars extra, in addition to the initial filing. This company, along with two others, have so far attempted to scam me out of money for this very same service that was already legitimately offered and provided by Sunbiz. While this scam letter would've costed me $94.50, the other two companies were charging $87.25 and $399.89, respectively.
