Got email stating the job applied for has changed to a better paying Travel agent position and you could make 3,000 per booking and you had to oay 97.00 per month to be insured and certified. Eventually pay 500 per year but because 1st year you can pay month to month. Send the 550 callers a link to "secure pymt" and you will get a 5 digit code you needed for onboarding. Insisted everyone needed to do it right away to do 2hr training asap

Hi applied to some positions on Linked In. I received an email that stated I did not get the job for the position I applied for but they had a better position available. Here is a link for the zoom call being offered for tomorrow to try to scam more people. https://us06web.zoom.us/w/82034208433?tk=3eJFI4dnoBzfsVZrtgpt7M2N5I1BtUJ03UILhX4... They told me to join zoom call where they went in about their company and job description. Then at end they sent the link for their BWJ Travel website. https://bwjagents.com/

Job listing on Craigslist for remote scheduling assistant https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ofc/d/san-diego-scheduling-assistant-120k/78... including a link to schedule an interview. Interview was a group style Zoom meeting scheduled for 1 hour, but took over an hour and a half explaining the role and the company before posting a link in the chat to "fill out a form" which was actually a monthly subscription on their website for a "Travel Consultant Certification" to join the team, https://certification.travelcareers.co/travel-consultants-certification.

I answered a Craigslist ad and was invited to a Zoom meeting for a remote job. I did not give money but there were over 300 people in the meeting and I think that most did give personal and financial information. We were all told to buy travel insurance in order to move forward with the next step in the hiring process and that we could not proceed to getting log-in information or one-on-one interview and orientation without in. We were also told that this opportunity would not be available tomorrow due to high number of applicants.

It is proposed as a job interview to replace a position one has already applied for but was filled. The scammers set up a large Zoom meeting with multiple "candidates" and mute all other participants, then explain their "business" and the "services" they provide, claiming to be a high end travel agency. They then guide victims into purchasing a "Travel Agent Certification", claiming it's required to work the consultant position they've offered. This is a recurring monthly charge of $97.00. I did not take part in this, it's an obvious scam by that point.

I answered an ad on Craigslist for a Data Entry position and ended up on this zoom call. It was for bwjagents.com. The entire call was a razzle dazzle, selling us (all of us desperate frustrated unemployed people) exactly what we wanted to hear. Then the end of the call he said that "you all are hired" and the only thing he needed from us was this "certification" and the "certification" link was to a membership page for bwjagents.

The webinar pitched positions as "high end travel consultants". It was a cattle-call webinar, about 300 attendees to start.

After applying to a remote data entry position, I received an email saying the position was filled, but there was another opportunity available, providing me a Calendly to schedule a zoom call. No company information was given in the email or the Calendly page. When I entered the call, I was on a call with "Mark, the co-founder" and over a hundred other participants. All of us except for Mark were muted, and Mark proceeded to explain a rather lucrative sounding opportunity for signing on with his company "BWJ Travel Agency. At one point, he even showed a photo of the Google street view of SVH travel. By the end of it, he claimed that we need to pay a monthly insurance fee of $97 before we begin training with them. I didn't pay the fee, but I looked them up to see that many had reported losing their money to this guy or another, that there was no further contact, and that the charges were recurring.

I applied for a job posting on Craigslist for a "Remote Data Entry" position (https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ofc/d/pittsburgh-remote-data-entry-150k/78386... From the beginning, the process was unprofessional. The Calendly invite provided no company name or role title, and the Zoom meeting link was sent only 10 minutes before the scheduled start.

What I encountered was a massive group interview with over 400 participants. The role was described as “booking travel orders” for customers, requiring responses to emails and inquiries within 20 minutes to meet performance expectations. However, the pay details were vague, explained only as “the partner companies pay us.” This was confusing because, as a consultant, we were expected to collect payment information from customers, which raised serious concerns about potential credit theft risks. Although the pay was described as commission-based, we were also told, “we don’t sell anything, we only process the customer's order.”

During the 1.5-hour call (originally scheduled for one hour), Jacob announced that anyone interested in moving forward had to become a "certified agent" by signing up for a $97/month certification program (https://certification.travelcareers.co/travel-consultants-certification). Candidates were even required to post a transaction number in the Zoom chat live during the call. Notably, only Jacob, the founder, was allowed to speak while all other participants were muted and the chat was disabled. By the end of the session, the number of participants had dropped from over 400 to about 250.

At the conclusion of the call, Jacob stated that to be officially “hired,” it was necessary to sign up for the certification for insurance purposes. Without signing up, you were not eligible to participate in the subsequent 7-8 hours of unpaid “training.” At that moment, it was clear that this was not a genuine job opportunity, and I left the call immediately. Although Jacob mentioned having 72 other consultants “in training,” I am concerned that others may have been misled into this scam.

Remote job position for a travel consultant found on craigslist. Invited to a large group meeting that seemed too good to be true. After listening to most of the zoom call where I was guaranteed a job I checked reddit on the scam subreddit and found many posts about Jacob/Mark SVH travel (SVH travel is a real company) that invite you to pay 97 dollars a month to use it's services. It apparently goes by BWJ with other "founders" as the host of this scam. I waited until the money was requested and then confirmed and sent a link to the host. I was promptly removed from the meeting. They do not allow for a group messaging function on Zoom and all mics are muted. Someone during the call held up a paper calling it a scam but i stayed on for curiosity. the zoom invite had a different business name and apparently this happens a lot. I hope the real SVH company isn't too directly hurt by these people.

I followed a link to use Calendly to schedule a job interview with a company for a position as a virtual assistant to families. When I used the link, I was in fact in a Zoom call with almost 200 people and a person named Jacob who claimed to be the CEO who was talking about getting a position as a consultant in a travel agency. He spent over an hour talking about how amazing the company was and how much they care and they took care of their employees and then at the end he gave a link to buy a "piece of their E&O insurance policy" as a requirement for being admitted into training.

- Cedar Hill, TN, USA

I recieved a email from BWJ Agency a d had believed it to he true. After taking the webanir I had quickly paid for the "agency insurance" and looked the company online to fine reddit reports on them. I continuced to search them up by using the last name of the ceo because the founder could not be found.
