Received 2 more people doing the right thing and researching the company on the OHSOS website. It is now closed but my phone number is out there. They called me and I notified them of the fraud. One was a buyer and one as a seller. Sending a copy of the website they are using.

I received a call from a person who received mail regarding pre approval of a mortgage that she was looking to secure. She was doing her due diligence and contacting the companies on the letters. Being smart...she looked up the company name Certified Mortgage Financing LLC on the letter to see if the company was active...which it was...it also gave my correct phone number on the OH SOS website and when she told me about why she called I was angry that someone was using my old company name and my name to scam people. She did try to call the phone number on the letter but no one answered. The certifiedmortgagefinance.com website had the same logo as on the mailed letter that came to her house. I have attached a copy of the letter and website printout. Hopefully someone will be able to stop someone from creating fraud to someone in my name. Immediately I contacted the OHIO SOS office and canceled the LLC which I was unaware was still active. I have contacted the police in Mentor OH to file a police report and waiting for an officer to contact me to file a report.
