The job offer was sent to me through text then I received an email from the HR Manager of Cetane truck AP. They gave me the full job description at the company for the position of a purchasing agent which completes transactions and takes care of invoices. I agreed I was interested in the position and filled out the application form in their email, then I was asked what time I could do a phone interview. We had a couple complications getting that done and I thought it were an issue and they wouldn't reach out but I was able to complete one and I was interviewed by a MR from the number (585) XXX-XXXX which was then successful because I received notification of that through text and email from A. I filled out the job letter offer and employment aggrement attached in my job offer email. I also sent in a photo of my ID, a photo of myself to match and my college transcript. The job offer stated that there was a 30 day probation period for training and I was told during my interview if I wanted to receive compensation before that I should ask HR about receiving it early. When A emailed me that my documents were approved by HR, I asked of payment before the probation period was finished and was told most likely not and they asked for my direct deposit info and to create telegram because that is where we will stay in contact. I did not receive any direct deposit confirmation but I shared my personal banking details. I began working on 9/11/23 and thats when i was given a clerical task and told to create a wise account for any transactions. I had to create the account using my personal $20 in order to do transactions. A also asked any other banks I used. Days passed and i was just working on this clerical assignment about logistics companies in the United States until 9/22. Then on 9/18, A gives me a practical task involving my capital one account. They give me an account to add to mine to complete a transfer after doing the verification test. The transfer was for 3984 and it was transferred in amounts so after the first amount I received a hold on my account to which my bank asked if my boss could join the call and A was being dodgy in messages saying they contacted the customer and that everything is ok just ask the restriction be lifted. In the interview I was told I would use my personal banking maybe a couple times then be given a corporate account and computer and that is what A tried to reassure that everything was fine, it would be my first and last transaction using my account then I will get a corporate account. I was able to lift the restriction due to them deleting the external account. However the transfer still went through and on 9/25 A asked me to take a cab to my local capital one and withdraw the funds and then place them into the counter agent's business account which was at chase under the name of Labor Hub LLC 3146 Pennsylvania avenue st, Louis, Missouri 63118. A asked for pics of all transaction receipts and that they be torn. The next morning I seen the 3984 reversed deposit on my account and I inform them and I was told they contacted the supposed customer and it was an error in 10 working days the money would be back in my account and I was just ignored after I didn't want to complete another transfer on the wise account I created. I also found a reddit link of someone's experience and their job offer was identical except for pay rate and the company name. Till now I have not contacted the bank because I am unsure how it can be handled as fraud.
