Type of a scam Online Purchase
The victim is a U.S. citizen living in mainland China. After sending the $10,000 wire to Grace Advisors USA LLC (the parent company of Collegiate Funding Advisors) account via his friend's Hong Kong bank account, Chip Miller completely ghosted the client victim, blocked his communications, and did not provide the services promised. This harmed the victim financially and harmed his relationship with his client as well. The victim believes others have been scammed in a similar manner, as the recourse for overseas victims is difficult and costly, relative to the amount of their loss.
The victim wants to warn others not to rely on the statements and promises of Chip Miller and his education related services. He believes it to generally be a scam.
