I applied for a mystery shopper position. I believe I was on indeed. I was notified by text that I would be receiving the funds to perform the mystery shopper assignment. I received a check 10/27/2023. The bank was DL Evans Bank 890 West Main Street Boise, ID 83702. I called the bank to see if the check was legit. The bank said just shred the check because there was fraud already notified on the account. The from address on the check is Challenger Systems, Inc. DBA Office Furniture Resources(OFR) 397 N. Steelhead Way. Boise, ID 83704. I received a text message asking me if I had received the assignment and the funds. The Text was from David. The instructions for the assignment came from David Grado. Head of recruitment /Coordinator. Email listed was [email protected]. So the person has my name and my address and phone number. The routing number on the check was a digit off. Tried to contact David Grado @ the phone number listed: 6194850704. phone just beeped.
