The above number has been calling my office for a number of months on and off for a couple years. Yesterday and today the calls have increased exponentially. The caller is usually the same woman, sometimes a man. Both have Filipino accents. They claim to be calling from the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, the Government of Alberta, or the Alberta ScamPulse.com. They ask if we are moving, and if we have a broker to assist us with that move. They confirm our address (available online) and ask for a contact name to address an updated profile or listing package. Sometimes they ask for an email they can send it to. They are very insistent. If we ask for a contact name or a number we can call back they sometimes get mad and yell or hang up on us. We are a high call volume office so these calls are taking up a lot of time from our receptionists.
