I recieved an unsolicited email regarding an "interview" for a job I never applied for using me name and phone number. I feel this is connected with a security issue with the company, Indeed, where I currently have my resume posted and was actively job hunting prior to these emails and similar scam calls beginning. I am on the do not call registry, but these types of scammers have called me anyway, and these "companies" they are recruiting for are little more than thinly veiled pyramid schemes.

Email recieved:

"We reviewed your resume online and feel that you would make a great fit in our agency. Thank you for your interest in our Benefits Representative position. We’re a national company and are open to remote positions. The position, pay and other details will be discussed in the interview along with any questions you may have. We’d like to arrange an online career overview
