Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Mr. A-Shin director of Chamland Steel Co. Limited offered PGGI steel coils. All discussions held for 4 months and sent advance USD 10,000/- to company in February 2024. He has sent Fake B/L & Fake Bank letter from OCBC Bank Hong Kong addressed to him about our transaction. When enquired with shipping company and OCBC bank they both denied issued such documents.
now he is not responding to our mail or Phone call.
Absolutely Fraud company with cheater director.

Unfortunately I also experienced same situation... same fraud in 2021. He sent us offer, pictures, loading plan etcc but we received some tiles inside the containers. This clown Jonny is a real cheater. Suggest you stay miles away from him

Champlands Steel Co Ltd are cheaters

Jonny , sales executive of Champlands Steel Ltd , is a cheat . He started exchange of e-mails May years ago . About nine months ago , I gave him an enquiry for Tinplates in coils from Baoshan , a big steel of China .
We signed a contract with Champlands Steel Co Ltd . The contract looked very convincing . He sent a letter from their bank . He also sent 30 photos of his works . He also sent us a copy of Contract with Posco of South Korea .
Terms of payment were 5% advance payment and balance by letter of credit . As per his proforma invoice we remitted USD 23,125 . We also have a letter of credit for 95% of contract value .
He sent us bogus invoice and packing list . He was supposed to sent us copy of bills of lading , Certificate of origin , Mill test Certificate and photos of loading in containers .
He kept giving excuses for not sending any documents and photos .
He just disappeared in thin air .
We engaged a lawyer in HongKong who issued a notice at registered office and company’s business address . Finally , our lawyer adviced that unless we can trace him and serve a Court notice , there is no point wasting more money on legal costs .

My advice to anyone who is thinking of doing business with Champlands Steel Co Ltd or Jonny to be very careful . They are 100% cheaters .

Champland Steel are scammers!

Same experience buying galvanized coils from this clown 'Jonny' who has been chasing me for business over five years. Sent business license, track records, etc., so we finally agreed on down payment and opened the lc, a few days before the shipping date Jonny disappeared. Be careful and away from these crooks. We will pursue legal action in Hong Kong.

Champland Steel Co Limited scams people and cooks stories

Champland steel and their Sales Manager Jonny are expert scammers and they tell you that they have processed your order and it is being shipped but when you go to get your shipment you will find out that he has sent something completely different altogether
So if you order steel sheets form them they will send you broken tiles or something else
We have been trying to contact the company but their manager Jonny keeps saying that the shipments must have been switched during delivery even though the serial number of the containers delivered matches the serial number shared by him
We have not heard anything back from Jonny for more than a months now and he has not even bothered to return our money
