To whom it may concern:

My name is (BBB Staff Redacted Consumer Name) and I have been using a Huntington National Bank credit card for many years. I have had a few issues with non-purchases and mailing the replacement cards to the wrong address at times (due to the problems I have been struggling with, concerning the National Postal Database, and they were always taken care of with due respect even when multiple cards were mailed to the wrong address due to the problem mentioned above).

The reason I am writing this is regarding my last issue with the credit card, (your reference number 23203028), concerning the phony charge from "Change Address Service". The claim case was ended and closed due to "not receiving the documentation requested". "

I explained the facts to the agent on my first phone call. To which she answered, "she believed she had enough information". Then I received a letter requesting more information or that I could speak to my local bank representative. I did go to the local bank and the representative entered into the system what he thought they wanted as well. The point I am making is that this incident all started from the National Postal Database again, after years of making me correct addresses with my medical insurance, an annuity that we have, a Wells Fargo account, and many other issues, had done the same thing (changing my address without my knowledge). I had been to my local post office and had little success in solving this problem. I decided that maybe I could do a fix myself on the "net" by using a website I believed was a legitimate way to do so. After filling out the required information (the correct address) the cost asked for was $4.95. I knew that the same thing could be done at the post office for free. Hence, my mistake was being lazy and thinking this would be okay as long as it was only $4.95. Only until my phone alerted me that I was charged $54.95 for a service that probably wouldn't even happen, did I realize it wasn't legitimate. My problem with this not being further investigated, and or payment retracted, is that it only increases the incentive for these crooks to keep doing this. I can't imagine that I am the only one that has had this happen to them. Yes I did give my card information for the payment, but with the understanding it would only be the lower charge. No, I did not get a receipt email or in any way get an acknowledgement of payment other than the bank alert. I have since searched for this site with no success. So having gotten this off my chest, I wish you only the best in the future. I will also be mailing a copy of this to the Better Business Bureau, and the office of the Attorney General of the State of Ohio, in hopes that they may catch these crooks somehow.

Thank you. Respectfully (BBB Staff Redacted Consumer Name)
