I saw an ad for rap artist shirt in an ad on Instagram. seeing that this was an apparent preorder for the shirts, I was prepared to wait for a month to receive said item (order placed July 14, 2023). waited until 8/14/23 to send an email regarding shipping date/information since I was intending on using the item for an upcoming concert the following week.

did not get a response until 8/17/23 to check the sellers Instagram regarding production and shipping process; nothing else was in the email that gave me a expect by ________ date, only a response to check the Instagram. the Instagram story only showed the supposed factory where the items where being made and "in process".

I took the images on said story as a reliable source (big mistake) and continued to wait to receive my shipping information since the seller said they were in process of being made.

emailed to retailer again on 8/29/23, 15 days after my initial email; this email was in response to his previous email and asking if there was an expected date i should wait for, and that i would have to go through my bank to file for a refund if i hadn't received anything.

did not receive an email response until 9/6/23 saying they had a set back for a few weeks and they are trying to provide a high quality item .

after emailing and only getting short responses, i took my questions to Instagram; sending private messages on multiple occasions (almost every few days) and commenting under his initial post in hopes i would get a quicker response that way.

it wasn't until the night of 9/19/23 that i received a personal message ON INSTAGRAM that i would be receiving a refund due to my "lack of patience".

I explained to the retailer, Michael Cazzell (@michael.cazzell) that I would've appreciated appropriate communication regarding the manner instead of an email with "check my story" as an update on a paid product.

the retailer continued to explain that he wasn't amazon and that things wouldn't be shipped overnight.

after telling him I was glad I was getting my money back, he continued to comment on my weight, calling me fat (referring to the size 2xl shirt I had ordered), and called me a dummy for not respecting the process.

the entire process from this company has been so unprofessional.
