Chaperone Therapeutics Rose Stamer and Harold Field

I filled out a job posting on LinkedIn for a data entry position and according to the metrics over 600 other did as well. Everything with the job looked legit. A week after I filled out the application and sent my resume I received an email to let me know my resume was on the short list and set up an email interview. (red flag) I wanted to be prepared for my interview so researched the company.
From what I can tell the company is fake. The address listed online is a real place but from what I can tell there is no company by this name at Research Triangle Park. The website on LinkedIn profile for this company throws an error. The email for both parties that contacted me Rose and Harold are spelled differently than the company web address listed on the company bio. Neither phone number I found works one is disconnected and one is a blank voicemail with no identification. I can find no employees for this company and no other social presence for this company. I just finished my email interview and I think I surprised them because the mask slipped. All the careful wording went out the door when I started questioning all the red flags.
I have alerted the authorities in my area and the Federal Trade Commission, and LinkedIn. The authorities in North Carolina have also been alerted. Per my contact with the local law the Sherriff in Durham County and their local police have never heard of this business and what everyone can tell if you 'pass' the interview you would be instructed to buy items that would be 'reimbursed.' Data Entry WFH Scam

I was initally sent a text from Heather Jones from an online data entry application that I submitted through LinkedIn. I was sent an Google form to complete an initial "interview." The following Monday, I was sent an offer letter with Chaperone Theraeupeutics form Sippole Thiele. I researched the company and found it odd that there was not phone number associated with the location. I was pretty desperate to get out of my current position and figured this was the operations given that it was wfh. I was very wrong. The next few days, I was sent email with tasks to complete. I was sent tasks at 5AM PT. They sent checks to "purchase" equipment. Sent me a bogus invoice through another fraud company, which I attempted to purchase the equipment. The transactions failed and they proceeded to have me purchase bitcoin and send to a wallet. After Heather asked me to do this again and I had not received equipment, I became suspicious. Three months later, something told me to check this website to see if anyone else had reported the same experience. These scammers have listed my email as the scam email and my location as the location. I'm sure they have realized that their little gig is up. I reported them IMMEDIATELY to the Federal Trade Commission, the CIA, and the BBB! I absolutely hate scammers and these people truly thought they were slick! You lowlifes have chosen the wrong woman to play with!

Sent a remote from home job offer for Chaperone Therapeutics by Heather Jones. Received an employee ID and fake email. After I was asked to purchase more "equipment " from the vendor and said no, Heather disappeared. Quit my job thinking this was a legitimate offer after doing research. Very elaborate scam here.
