Lavishivy.com Primarily advertises through social media and directs you to pages to purchase their items. When you check out, they quietly sign you up for a "VIP Membership" with no verification that this will happen other than a snippet inside of their Terms of Service on their website. They do not make it known that they will charge more to your card, and additionally if you try to cancel this membership before the first month renewal, they will proceed to charge you more.

Doing a deeper dive of this website reveals its predatory nature. On the cancel subscription page (https://lavishivy.com/pages/vip-unsubscribe), they provide a form that does not provide a submission button.

The "24/7 Customer Help Line" is an automated system that claims you are in a numbered queue, but once the line confirms you are next in line, it plays an automated message requesting a voicemail, meaning the call line isn't even legitimate.

Additionally, looking into product reviews, they are clearly fake and promoting products as trusted and reviewed without legitimate reviews.

This website is extremely predatory and on TrustPilot.com, there are 281 1 star reviews representing the multiple victims of this scam. Finally, while not a scam none of their products or images are their own, doing a reverse image search of any product pictures on google, directs you to an Amazon link of the same image.

They charge you for a subscription, say you can cancel. You can’t. Can’t contact anyone! They’re scamming millions. The product never comes, the subscription gets taken but no free complimentary things sent every month like they said. Shut them down.

Bought item of Facebook. item was overpriced and of very poor quality (purchase in May 2024). I am not disputing price paid for crappy merchandise. However when you buy from them they automatically sign you up for RED PLANET MEMBERSHIP. Red planet membership is $49/mo. I don't know what it is, they make it very difficult to not get red planet membership. (hard to find where to cancel or how much it costs until you have already been billed) I canceled my membership in mid July 2024. In Aug 2024 I was not charged. In sep 2024 I was charged again. In the description they gave the credit card was for automotive services. The item purchased was cooking utensils. I have tried to get the sep 2024 money refunded from credit card company. I just submitted the dispute today so I won't know if I will receive a refund or not.
