I ordered a product from "Deals Goalie Store," website "discountroller.com" (qty 5 for a total of $97.97). The product has been discontinued and I couldn't find anywhere else that ships to the U.S. This website came up in a Google search for the product. I placed an order on July 4, 2023. I did not receive an order confirmation or any other communication from the merchant; however, my credit card was charged (appears on my credit card as HAWAOO.US). After a few days of not receiving an email, I searched for contact info on the website. The address listed is 1354 Kovar Road, Worcester MA, 01609, there is no phone number listed. This does not appear to be a legit address. I initially tried entering a complaint, but wasn't able to add this business because the address is not valid so I'm trying to enter a complaint via the scam route. I filled out the "Ask a question" form on the website's contact us page, but did not receive a response. I still have not received any communication from the merchant nor have I received the items I ordered. I have also tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but the claim was rejected. I have called and the request has been reopened, but does not promising. I believe that the website is a scam (i.e., credit cards are charged with no intention of ever sending the merchandise that is offered for sale). The website has the same look and feel as similar websites and does not initially appear to be fraudulent.
